Marianne was my cousin. Her dad and my step-dad were brothers, both long gone now. I remember when my brother Mike, Marianne and I would have pancake eating contests at her folks house. Aunt Helen would make "silver dollar" pancakes and as I remember it I won by eating 50! Of course, my memory could be fooling me. Marianne was an awesome cousin, I will miss her even though I had not seen her in a long time but every time I eat pancakes I think of her.
